| Peach the Pres was started to be a complete informational web site with a social network. After much deliberation, it was decided to just be a statement. Peach the PresThe United States formed on July 4th, 1776 when 13 British colonies in North America declared independence and formed their own country. Based upon the concepts of individual equality the government is a representative based republic. The figure of the president has experienced different eras since its creation at the 1789 Constitutional Convention. While some of the Founders, namely Hamilton, thought it wise to create a monarch-like executive with life tenure, Washington declined the title of “king” and followed the more democratic consensus, giving us the form of government we have today. The United States is a Republic, not a Democracy, so simply winning a majority of votes doesn’t quite get you a seat in the Oval Office. There is the popular vote, which is a simple majority to win; however, the Electoral College has a mighty sway in an election. Each state has a group of electors based on the number of House Representatives and Senators combined. Typically, the winner of the popular vote in a state is given all of the Electoral votes. The Electoral College has caused many to claim that one vote doesn’t count. Indeed it does; however, you may not be voting for President, but rather, voting for an Electors vote. The President “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” The articles of impeachment originate in the House with a majority vote and the case is heard by the U.S. Senate with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding. If two-thirds of the Senate vote in favor, the President is removed from office. One must be a natural born American citizen, 35 years of age, and have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years. It’s time we all started acting like United States citizens….all of us. Gary Gordon was doing his part. He volunteered for the armed forces and became one of the best. He was an American citizen….and a soldier. He died defending a downed Black Hawk helicopter in Somalia in 1993, a politically motivated kidnapping operation that went wrong. Bill Clinton later pulled all troops from Somalia thus loosing the fight. Follow the Clintons….darkness and death you will find. Oh, with the Bush family as well….we can’t leave them out of that thought. But it’s not to say that you must become a soldier and die like these brave souls did in Somalia, or how brave souls are today in Iraq and other hostile areas of the world. It’s to say that some of us will be those soldiers…some us ARE those soldiers….the rest of us needs to play our part and get off the couch and make a difference. We have already seen that the voting system is flawed. We have seen gas prices triple. We have seen the economy wain, the poor get poorer and the rich get very richer. In the last few years the average US citizens wages increased by 14%. The income of the top 1% of the nation increased by 144%. When you think of us in our correct historical perspective as peasants, serfs, vassals ...the worker bees have never had it so good. We have the freedom to change jobs, disposable time and money. Our military may fight wars we don't like but the troops are no longer drafted..etc. But if we could make it even better? Why wouldn’t we want that? Today we have access to more information. Not knowing or not believeing the truth is not an excuse. Today we see the top conservatives believing in rule by inherited wealth and an international corporate elite. Even though a healthy democracy and a politically aroused citizenry get in their way, it hasn’t seemed to slow them down so far. As we just sit and watch the labor in America being held down by over ten million illegal workers, companies like Wal-Mart remain number one while Union based jobs are all but gone. It’s time the politicians started acting like American citizens too. It seems the farther up the ladder they go….the farther away from the common man they go. The common man is only a sheep to the Shepard. What happened to helping the citizens? The poor? The weak? The hungry? What happened? It’s what didn’t happen. Point to one place in history the Elite made sure they had no poor among their flock. Point to one time in history the People were really in control. Americans have become weak. They trade freedom for security. A false security at that. On the fateful date of September 11th, 2001 our entire Eastern Civil Defense failed. No one really likes to think about it….much less think about the actual Truth. As far as the Eastern Civil Defense failure…no one got a slap on the hand for their failure…not an air traffic controller or armed forces General, not even a radar guy or some government official that should be on top of these things. Our Eastern Civil Defense program at the time of the attacks was easily ready, capable and should have thwarted ALL of the jet planes from their targets. Laws were broken left and right. What should have been wasn’t and no one was to blame except a jihadist named Osama Bin Laden who was supposedly commandeering his al’quida army from a cave in Afghanistan while on dialysis. We need to stop giving out so many political ataboy’s and a few more slap-on-the-wrists, that’s what they are doing to us. Everyday they are discussing, writing and passing laws to better control us, arrest us and scare us. When and where does it start? How can I change the world? Start with yourself. Then actually start walking your talk. We gotta stop living out lives being a color. Stop being so PROUD to be white, PROUD to be black, PROUD to be whatever….start being proud to be human and lets just get along. I’m not going to try and talk you into not believing what you believe or to believe in something else. If you’re religion says to put a bullet in the head of someone with another religion….something is amiss. “War is good for business.” – quoting a local in Saudi Arabia Judith Miller | NewYork Times – January 30, 1991 Today, we see that globalists have bankrupted the nation. Today, we see more and more of America being sold to foreign buyers. These buyers are after things that can make them money so they can send it back to invest in their home country. They are buying our ports, corporations, utility companies (water systems, power generating systems) and natural resources. We created the country on what was called Tariff-based trade. When the country started into things like the WTO, NAFTA and GATT the “Free-trade” system began. It let things come into the country tax free. The biggest example is Wal-Mart. We could not go and buy cheap stuff there unless the Free-Trade agreement happened. But that is also why the average american citizen is going into debt or selling off they’re assets just to maintain their lifestyle. Entire industry sectors have been wiped out due to the new way of importing and exporting. Americans began loosing jobs and factories started moving out of the country. Overseas corporations and countries have made billions off of us while we just got poorer. What are they doing with all that stockpile of american cash? They do not want to buy anything we make or sell. So they are buying us. Piece by piece, chunk by chunk. Welcome to the New World Order. A few top things to do to drastically change the face of the nation –
Most of us are not ready to accept that responsibility and would rather pay the higher gas prices and other costs associated with Human Daycare. We love that all we have to do is maybe vote every now and then and if it counts cool, if not cool….and the world keeps rolling along. It’s like they live in this Human Daycare for the tired, weak and enslaved public. It’s time to grow some wings and fly that joint. A strong wind of Freedom is blowing through. The People need to go out into the streets and have a voice that will be heard. Look around at countries like Kenya, Ecuador or Chili??...they go into the streets when elections are botched, when taxes are raised and other crimes against them are done against them and their will…..they have ousted Presidents…..not impeached….they run them out of the country itself. If you want to look closer to home for any reason to go into the streets…all you have to do open your eyes. The key is to go into the streets with your words, not a gun. Not a knife….and not any form of violence. But you must be damn serious with your voice….all the way to the top serious. Think about the cells in our body. Alone they can do nothing. They are a part of a bigger system where they have to work together. If we want to speak our voice…. We eyes have to see, our ears have to hear, our brain has to understand, then it has to formulate. Finally our mouth can then speak. The ears and eyes have millions of cells as does the brain and the mouth and the vocal chords. One of these cells alone cannot move mountains. 20 of these cells cannot. Even 500 cells working together can barely raise a finger or blink an eye. But millions…millions of cells working together….can have a voice. A voice that can move mountains. LINKS: Gary Gordon Randy Shughart Opensecrets.org Our Blog |
